Over the next few days I’m going to be introducing everyone to our Hysteria 2012 Short Story and Poetry Competition Judges. I’ve asked them all the same six questions and there are some surprising answers. The first judge up today is … Janice Gibson and here she tell’s you a little more about herself.
Tell me one thing no-one knows about you.
I once weighed 11 and a half stone. The only other person who knew this was my Weight Watchers Leader.
What do you enjoy reading the most and why?
I like crime novels the most ( in particular police procedurals) as I like the way they unfold and I can try and guess the murderer. I also wanted to join the police but I was too short !
If there was one book or piece of writing you wish you had written what would it be?
The Secret Diaries of Adrian Mole. I love Sue Townsend
What prompted you to volunteer to be a judge in Hysteria 2012?
I love reading – especially women authors.
Have you written a book or a poem? If so what is the title and where can we find it (if it’s available to buy)?
No I haven’t.
If there was a film of your life who would play you and why?
Cheryl Cole cos she has a Geordie accent like me and we look alike ( well the first part is true ! )
