Vitex Agnus Castus
German researchers have suggested that an extract of Vitex Agnus Castus fruit, which is also known as chasteberry, has been shown to reduce the symptoms associated with premenstrual syndrome by around 50%. It has been used for many years by herbalists and naturopaths to treat the symptoms of PMS and the results of the study are suggesting that it should now be considered by medical practitioners as an effective way to manage the condition.
