Returning to Work after Hysterectomy
One of the most common questions asked about hysterectomy is 'when can I go back to work?' the answer is often 'how long is a ball of string?'. A standard answer from medical practitioners is that it should take around six weeks. But this will be dependent on many other factors, such as you health before the operation, the type of job you do and any ongoing condtions.

Services offered
Over the last year a few members have got in touch to say that they have services that they would like to offer to other members. This is the place to post the details and don't forget contact details. So if you are offering a cleaning service in Swindon, or taxi to hospital in Glasgow, this is the place to do it!

Creative Disposal
OK, so you've had the hysterectomy - now what do you do with all the sanitary towels and tampons still hanging around? Suggestions for creative disposal of sanitary items and contraceptives here please for everyone to enjoy, if they so wish. Do remember though, that contraceptives should eventually be returned to the pharmacist for appropriate disposal - it is how you do the return we are interested in.
